Mr Gabriel Yam is a structural engineer with over 20 years’ experience of design and managing large-scale multidisciplinary projects in Hong Kong, working with leading international architects and clients.

His involvement in the Tai Kwun project started in 2009, as he led a team of local engineers and worked with conservation experts from the United Kingdom, overcoming numerous engineering challenges in transforming one of Hong Kong’s largest and oldest heritage compound into a vibrant cultural hub at the heart of the city.
