Alessandro Bisagni is the Founder & President of BEE Incorporations, an international sustainability engineering consulting and technology company specializing in the creation of green and healthy buildings. Alessandro’s mission is to leverage business to do good. This includes educating corporations about tangible ways to build, renovate, and operate spaces sustainably while also helping advance sustainability in our urban environment. Over his career he has managed more than 300 green building projects across 30+ countries. The projects range from luxury retail flagships to eco-resorts to organic showrooms; with a combined footprint of over 40 million square feet. He has grown BEE to become a 50+ team in 12 offices, a LEED Proven Provider, and Top 15 LEED Consultancies in China as recognized by GBCI. BEE is currently the most experienced green building consultancy in the retail sector worldwide. Alessandro has been recognized by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as a Top 40 Under 40 professional class of 2016, Tatler Asia as Generation T List class of 2017, South China Morning Post as a 2017 Timekeeper, Green Is The New Black as a Green Warrior class of 2019, received an IWBI Leadership Award for his work in Asia on the WELL Building Standard and a Living Future Hero award by the International Living Future Institute class of 2020. He is the co-Founder of the Sustainable Buildings Collaborative (SBC) China and current Chairman of Platinum Hong Kong, two professional industry groups whose mission is to spread green building knowledge across Greater China and build ties between local LEED practitioners and the USGBC.
