Laurence has led as the Head of Campus Life at the Centre of Development and Resources for Students at The University of Hong Kong since 2023. In this capacity, he oversees student accommodation, amenities facilities, financial services, dining services, support for non-local students and student organizations, orientation programs, and co-curricular programs including General Education. These responsibilities are all designed to enrich the student experience and cultivate a lively intellectual campus atmosphere.
Having joined HKU in 2015, Laurence initially contributed to the university's innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives as a founding member of iDendron. Subsequently, he shifted his focus to university fundraising campaigns and alumni engagement.
In addition, Laurence serves as the Senior Resident Tutor at HKU Karson Choi College, leading the tutorial team in promoting students' intellectual development, pastoral care, and residential member admissions.
Laurence holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from The University of Hong Kong, with a dual major in Politics & Public Administration and Social Policy. He has actively participated in community service as a former member of the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education for the Hong Kong SAR Government.
