Tim is a practicing urban planner, surveyor and project director with extensive experience in planning, engineering and managing smart city and digital infrastructures to drive social and environmental goals. He is the Head of System Development at BEAM Society Limited, a green building certification body based in Hong Kong and the Associate Director of Tembusu Asia Consulting, a sustainability consulting company based in Singapore. Tim spearheaded the development of iBEAM Assessment Automation System and the iBEAM Unison plugin, aiming to harmonize the environmental and social sustainability data in building information modeling and providing a one-stop digital solution for green building professionals to analyze the green performances of their properties in a digital environment. Additionally, Tim has directed the development of BEAM Plus portfolio assessment scheme, which enables asset managers to better evaluate the green management and energy usage of their existing building portfolios. Finally, Tim has provided sustainability and environmental design and ESG consultancies for various private and public organizations in Asia.
