Project Director
The Oval Partnership, Ltd.

Wendy Tsai is a Registered Architect with international experience and multidisciplinary expertise in retail and hospitality, residential, master planning, interior and FF&E design. Highly perceptive to the macro swings in trends and tuned into the social impacts these have on community building and demographic shifts, Wendy approaches design with a strategic planning vision, that ventures beyond the physical built environment. Leveraging wide interests and understanding diverse perspectives, she works with client teams to curate bespoke narratives and develop holistic product positioning that continually evolve and adapt with time. Having graduated with honors in Architecture at Cornell University and Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Wendy went on to work in both New York and Shanghai with Leslie Gills, Rafael de Cárdenas and Neri&Hu prior to joining The Oval Partnership. Attentive to details and sensitive to both east and west traditions and values, she has led projects of considerable global influence such as Lane Crawford, MCM, Vanke, Shui On, New World Group, and Bloomberg. Wendy is an active member of Urban Land Institute in Hong Kong, and sits on the executive committee of the Young Leaders Group (YLG) and ULI NEXT. Together with her peers and mentors, she has hosted the Reinjecting Purpose into Real Estate series that aims to raise awareness, connect the likeminded, and foster opportunities for leaders in the industry and local interests groups, empowering them to come together and innovate the way we think, work, and live with resilience.
